What format should I use for stock symbols?

Use NSE symbols with the .NS suffix — for example RELIANCE.NS, TCS.NS, INFY.NS, BAJFINANCE.NS. For BSE-listed stocks use the .BO suffix (e.g. 500325.BO). Put one symbol per row in column A of your Google Sheet. We auto-skip blank rows and rows that do not look like valid symbols.

How long does it take to screen stocks?

About 15–30 seconds per stock depending on data availability. A 20-stock watchlist typically takes 5–8 minutes end-to-end. Results are cached for 24 hours, so if you run the same symbol again within 24 hours the result is returned instantly from cache.

Is my Google Sheet data safe?

Accepted Answer

We only read column A of your sheet — the stock symbols. We never read, store or transmit any other data in your sheet. We add new columns (to the right of your data) for the results. We do not store your sheet URL or your email address beyond the duration of the current job.

Which stocks are supported?

Accepted Answer

All NSE and BSE listed stocks that are available on screener.in and Yahoo Finance. This covers the vast majority of large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap stocks. Some very small micro-caps may have incomplete fundamental data — in those cases we return whatever data is available and mark missing fields as N/A.

What is a 'Red Flag' in the results?

A red flag is an automatically detected risk pattern that warrants extra caution before investing. Current flags include: high promoter pledge (above 25%), consistent promoter selling (3+ quarters), both FII and DII selling simultaneously, earnings quality concern (OCF significantly below PAT), interest coverage below 1.5x, D/E ratio above the sector threshold, revenue declining over 3 years, and PAT declining over 3 years. Each flag deducts 5 points from the total score.

How is the 0–100 score calculated?

The score starts at 50. Points are added or deducted based on 40+ checks across six categories: Growth (±30 pts), Profitability (±18 pts), Debt (±23 pts), Valuation (±16 pts), Shareholding (±23 pts), and Red Flags (−5 per flag detected). The final score is clamped between 0 and 100. Scores of 80+ are labelled STRONG BUY, 60–79 BUY, 40–59 WATCH, 20–39 AVOID, and below 20 SELL.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free plan: up to 10 stocks per run, full 40+ check scoring, Google Sheets write-back, 24-hour cached results. Pro plan (₹499/month): unlimited stocks per run, bulk .txt watchlist upload, custom scoring weights, priority processing queue, 90-day result history, and an email report summary after each run.

Can I customise the scoring weights?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Pro users can increase or decrease the weight of any scoring factor. For example, if you prefer to emphasise PEG ratio over ROCE, or want to give less weight to the promoter holding trend, you can adjust these from your scoring profile page. Changes apply to all future runs until you reset to defaults.
